1.4-inch Super AMOLED Display

It seems Samsung didn’t bother changing the designs of most of their newly released device and it’s no different for the Samsung Galaxy Watch5. It looks almost identical side by side though the new Samsung Galaxy Watch5 does come with armour aluminum frame. The display is a 1.4-inch showing 450 x 450 pixels resolution and 321ppi of pixel density. For those of you who would like to go for the smaller version, it will be a 1.2-inch display. Fitness All the Way

Fitness lovers can rejoice as Samsung decided to go all in when it comes to fitness features. The watch now offers health monitoring around the clock with different features. You get to analyze your sleeping pattern using the Advanced Sleep Coaching and work on creating better sleep habits. The 3-in-1 BioActive sensor is there but this time comes with a curvature at the bottom to offer a better reading. Another welcome addition is the skin-temperature reader. While we have already seen this in Oura Ring Generation 3 and Fitbit Sense, it’s a first for Samsung Galaxy Watches. Two Different Sizes with Two Different Battery

While the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 didn’t get a major bump in it’s size of the battery, it is still packing a decent battery. The 40mm version comes with a 284mAh battery while the 44mm packs a decent 410mAh battery. It’s expected to last up to 40 hours on a full charge. They also made a claim that only eight minutes of charge should help it last up to eight hours but that remains to be seen. This watch is running Wear OS 3 and One UI Watch 4 with some attractive features like an improved typing interface, better accessibility features and dual-SIM support. Things we didn’t like about this smartwatch:

• The physical rotating bezel is not there anymore
• Samsung went with its own Exynos processor instead of Qualcomm’s upcoming new chipset
• Most of the noteworthy features of the Pro version is missing in this one
