We have recently seen a bunch of smartphones following the notch design of the latest iPhone X. Oppo has recently released the Oppo F7 but looks like the company is not done just yet. There is another smartphone on the way with similar design titled as the Oppo R15. To find out more about this phone and the Oppo R15 Cairo price, continue reading.
It’s quite evident from some of the recently released phones that notches are here to stay for a while. However, that’s not necessarily a bad thing as we get a giant display in small phones thanks to a good percentage of screen-to-body ratio. Here in the Oppo R15, we get an 84.8% screen-to-body ratio and it’s a 6.28-inch screen showing 2280 x 1080 pixels resolution and 401ppi of pixel density. The display is quite vivid and attractive and will definitely grab your attention. Although the glossy aluminum body looks nice, it’s a fingerprint magnet as well. What makes this phone slightly different from the Oppo F7 is its dual rear cameras on the back. The Oppo F7 is also slightly cheaper compared to the Oppo R15 Cairo price.
Oppo phones usually pack a good camera and the same can be said for the Oppo R15. One of the dual cameras on the back is a 16-megapixel one using IMX519 sensor with f/1.7 aperture and you will be satisfied with the pictures you capture in daylight and sometimes even in low light conditions. The other camera is a 5-megapixel one with f/2.2 aperture and surprisingly none of the rear cameras are packing OIS. If you are planning to capture videos every now and then, this can be a deal breaker. Oppo usually highlights their selfie camera in all their advertising campaigns and here we get a 20-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture. There is no autofocus on the front camera but according to Oppo, it comes with 3-HDR technology that can apply HDR right when you are capturing the picture in real-time. Some of the competitors that you can check out are the OnePlus 5T, Samsung Galaxy S9 and Google Pixel 2.
Nowadays most of the phones are usually packing an average battery and the Oppo R15 is unfortunately no different in this case. The Oppo R15 is powered by a 3450mAh battery with VOOC Flash Charge which will ensure fast charging. It’s a high-end phone and the specs also reflects that: a Mediatek Helio P60 octa-core processor paired with 6GB of RAM. Users get 128GB built-in storage which can be easily expanded using the microSD card slot. Other notable features of this phone are: Android 8.1 Oreo OS, fingerprint sensor on the back, microUSB 2.0 port, Bluetooth 4.2 and a 3.5mm headphone jack which is missing in some of the phones these days. If you are in the market for a phone with big battery, there is the Asus Zenfone 3 Max with 4130mAh battery that you can get right away.
The Oppo R15 is already available in some places and will cost you about EGP 8300 if not more.
