Samsung’s Gear S lineup is quite popular in the smartwatch market and its latest addition to the series, the Samsung Gear S3 is officially here. Not a lot of smartwatches were released this year so the number of competitors of this smartwatch is quite low. As usual, let’s take a look at the Samsung Gear S3 Cairo price. While we don’t know much about the pricing details officially, the starting price is expected to be around 7700 to 9600 EGP when it’s here. 1.3-inch Super AMOLED Display

There are two different models to choose from but both the models features a 1.3-inch circular display showing 360 x 360 resolution and 278ppi of pixel density. This display includes always-on display which means you get to use it as a normal watch as well. It’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass SR+ which is the first time it’s featured in a Samsung smartwatch. Both the models are customizable and comes with swappable bands. However, the number of bands for the Samsung Gear S2 were quite limited so we are hoping to see some more bands this time. There is the Asus ZenWatch 2 or Motorola Moto 360 2^nd Generation if you are looking for something cheaper compared to the Samsung Gear S3 Cairo price. Like last time, its IP68 certified and offers dust and water resistance.

Make Calls Directly

This is where the Samsung Gear S3 is better than most of the smartwatches, its LTE capability and built-in speaker which allows you to receive a call directly without depending on a Bluetooth headphone or phone. Most of the watches doesn’t include a speaker so it’s definitely a good feature if you are not eager to always carry your smartphone with you wherever you go. However, only the Samsung Gear S3 Frontier includes LTE support so you will need Wi-Fi connection and a voice call app for the Bluetooth only model. Among the two models, the Samsung Gear S3 Frontier is designed for active people with slightly more features and rugged design. The other one, Samsung Gear S3 Classic is more luxury focused, lighter than the Frontier and looks more attractive. However, if you are after a fitness focused watch there is the Samsung Gear Fit 2 and Fitbit Charge 2. It can be really annoying if your smartwatch runs out of battery just after a day or two. According to Samsung, the Samsung Gear S3 will last up to 3 to 4 days. Other notable features of this smartwatch are: Exynos 7270 processor, Tizen OS 2.3.2 operating system, 768MB of RAM and 4GB built-in storage. All the standard sensors are there including Accelerometer, Barometer, Gyro, Ambient Light and HRM.

The Samsung Gear S3 is expected to show up in the market sometimes in November, 2016. Both the smartwatches will be running Samsung’s own Tizen operating system but we are hoping for an Android Wear based Samsung Gear S3 as well which offers better compatibility with iOS devices.
