Lenovo S5 is a latest mid-range phone from Lenovo that is not really packing a near bezel-less display but still comes with a big screen. It has been a while since the company released any new phones so let’s see if the Lenovo S5 has something interesting to offer and the Lenovo S5 Cairo price.
While all the giant phones these days are getting smaller in size by showing up with less bezels, this one comes with the usual screen-to-body ratio covering 74.1% of the screen. It’s a 5.7-inch screen showing 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution, 18:9 aspect ratio and 424ppi of pixel density. Although it’s a budget phone, the aluminum body gives the phone a premium look. There is no home button and the fingerprint sensor can be found on the back of the phone. It’s already available in some places and it can be found in two different colors after the Lenovo S5 release date Egypt: Flame Red and Midnight Black. It’s assumed to be a direct competitor to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 which is also available at the moment.
Nowadays it’s surprising for a phone to not pack a pair of cameras on the back and the Lenovo S5 didn’t surprise us on that front. It is packing a pair of 13-megapixel cameras but one of the cameras comes with a monochrome sensor while the other one is a RGB sensor with f/2.2 aperture. This camera is capable of capturing 2160p videos at 30fps which is surprising for a phone in this price range. Another great thing about this phone is its front camera which is a whopping 16-megapixel one with f/2.2 aperture. If you are in the market for a good camera focused phone and don’t want to wait for the Lenovo S5 release date Egypt, there is the Asus Zenfone 3 and LG G5 that you can check out. However, these are slightly more expensive compared to the Lenovo S5 Cairo price.
Running heavy games or apps shouldn’t be a problem with the Lenovo S5 as it’s packing a Qualcomm MSM8953 Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor clocked at 2.0GHz. This processor has been paired with an optional 3 or 4GB of RAM depending on the option you choose. The 4GB RAM version comes with 64/128GB built-in storage while users get only 32GB built-in storage in the 3GB RAM version. A 3000mAh Li-Po battery is there to power things up and there is no fast charging feature with this so this might make some people think twice before buying this phone. Other notable features include: Android 8.0 Oreo operating system, dual SIM, Bluetooth 4.2, USB 2.0 port, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector and GPS. You can check out the OnePlus 5T or Google Pixel 2 if you are in the market for a powerful phone with heavy specs.
The Lenovo S5 is available for about EGP 3600 at the moment. It’s already available in some places which means the Lenovo S5 release date Egypt can be expected soon.
