It also features auto focus and a read LED flash. As an unexpected bonus for such a low priced phone, there is also a .3 MP front view camera which is convenient to take "selfies" and photos with friends.

Battery Life & Storage

The Hinense U970 battery last a fairly decent compared to other similar smartphones.  Once it is fully charged, it offers commendable operating time with it's 2000 mAh Lithium Ion battery. When the phone is constantly being used throughout the day for activities such as checking emails, social media, and texting, it should last from the time you wake up until the time you go to bed and charge it. Unless a lot of time is spent downloading and steaming, there are no problems with battery life.

The internal storage holds 4GB and can be expanded up to 32GB. This can be done by purchasing a MicroSD card to insert into the phone. This may be a good idea as you can easily transfer pictures to your computer with the MicroSD card.

The Bottom Line

Overall, the quality of the phone is greater than expected in this price range. There are no fancy extras like some higher priced phones, but there are also no glitches with software, it is heavy duty, and the photos turn out great every time which is a huge plus. Even after months of use, it was withstood being dropped on concrete, thrown against a wall, and being dropped in the toilet! The durability of this phone is really what makes it worth the money.
