It was about time for Apple to include wireless charging as one of the features in the iPhones and the company finally did it. A wireless charger was introduced at the iPhone X event titled as the Apple AirPower. There is a catch however as this wireless charging pad will only support the recently release iPhones. To find out more about this wireless charger including the Apple AirPower Cairo price, continue reading.
There is not much to look forward to when it comes to the design of the Apple AirPower wireless charger. However, it will be quite big and users will be able to charge three devices at the same time which includes iPhones, AirPods and Apple Watch. As the previous iPhones didn’t include wireless charging capabilities, only the iPhone 8 and iPhone X can be charged using this wireless charger for now. It wouldn’t matter where you keep the device on the charger as it will charge three devices at the same time no matter where it is on the charger. While it might sound like a no brainer to some, do keep in mind that the wireless charging pad needs to be plugged in.
This is where the Apple AirPower stands out from most of the wireless chargers available on the market, it’s use of Qi wireless charging standard. We don’t know yet if the charger will support other Qi-enabled device and will be able to confirm after the Apple AirPower release date Egypt. Another attractive feature of this wireless charger is that the devices that are being charged will be able to communicate with each other. Thanks to this feature, users will be able to see how long it will take for the AirPods and Apple Watch to charge completely right from their iPhone 8 or iPhone X if those devices are being charged together. However, there is a catch as the current AirPod cases doesn’t support Qi-enabled. It is possible that Apple will release Qi-enabled AirPods case which means it’s another mystery that will be solved after the Apple AirPower release date Egypt. Same goes for the Apple watch as only the Apple Watch Series 3 are confirmed to be compatible with this charger.
Apple did reveal the Apple AirPower at the iPhone event but the pricing and release date is still a mystery at this point. Judging from the price of other wireless chargers, it will cost around EGP 2200 if not more.
According to Apple, the Apple AirPower won’t show up any time soon before 2018. We will have to wait for an official announcement to find out more about its release date.
