Samsung has recently released two wearables recently and one of them is the Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro. It’s an upgraded and more expensive version of the Samsung Gear Fit 2 and comes with some new features. To find out whether those new features are worth checking out or not and the Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro Cairo price, keep reading.
We loved the design of the Samsung Gear Fit 2 and the Pro version is nothing you haven’t seen before. The number of colors are also nothing new, one black version and the other one is a combination of black and red. Unlike the previous Gear Fit2, users will be able to take this fitness focused wearable while swimming or running in the rain as this gadget comes with 5ATM waterproofing. There is also a water lock mode for those of you who will take it with them when swimming. This lock will make sure that the water drops doesn’t get counted as finger touches. The bands included with the watch also looks slightly better with the diamond cut but the screen size remains the same. It’s a 1.5-inch screen showing 432 x 216 pixels resolution and 322ppi of pixel density.
There are more built-in apps available in the Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro and some great fitness focused app support that includes Speedo Go, Endomondo, MapMyRun and UA Record. Another notable feature of the Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro is that it will work with iOS devices as well and comes with iOS compatibility. The syncing process can be tough for iOS users but it’s there. The Galaxy App store is also there to where users can look for apps and download them on their fitness tracker. It will be running Samsung’s Tizen operating system which is definitely something to keep in mind if you are planning to get an Android OS running watch. There is the Asus ZenWatch 3 and Huawei Watch if you are looking for something with a circular shape. However, these are more expensive compared to the Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro Cairo price.
One of the most awaited features of this fitness focused gadget was its offline playback support for Spotify. While the previous fitness tracker did offer Spotify integration, there was no support for offline playback. Now, users can listen to their Spotify music like listening to a standalone music player. However, this app in not pre-installed like you would expect. Working out with this fitness tracker is also quite easy as it can track your workouts automatically. The auto detection feature in this fitness tracker is surprisingly good and it comes with built-in GPS as well which means it can track and record your route as well. For the fitness tracker lovers out there, this is definitely a good gadget to check out. However, if you want something more smartwatch like, there is the Apple Watch 3 and Samsung Gear S3 Classic you can try.
The Samsung Gear Fit 2 Pro is currently available for about EGP 3600 at the moment. There are two different sizes to choose from with the same screen size and price.
