The third quarter of every year in particular brings out some great new smartphones. There are multiple Samsung devices that have been revealed as well as released in the past weeks and months but the latest and greatest smartphone to be announced is the Samsung Galaxy A5. The Galaxy Alpha kicked off the A series on a high note with the Alpha and it is only going up from there! The A5 is rumored to be one of three devices to be up and coming in the Galaxy A handsets.
Like its predecessor, the A5 is rumored to also show off a full-metal body but there are also tipsters who claim it will not be metal nor plastic. Instead of the metal body like the Alpha, there are hints that lead us to believe it could be some sort of metallic material or possibly something completely new! Although the main material being used is not confirmed, the shape of a rectangular device is. It will have a familiar frame along with chamfered edges, again, similar to the Alpha. We expect to see many similar features and design elements that the Alpha has except hopefully enhanced and improved on.
The Samsung Galaxy A5 Cairo release date is not set yet but we don’t have any indication worldwide when we will see this device released. We are very anxious and excited though as it is rumored to have a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor as well as a 13 megapixel rear camera which is way ahead of the game of many other smartphones. With a 13 megapixel back camera and a 5 megapixel front camera, this device will surely eliminate the need to carry around a bulky point-and-shoot camera with you. With these high quality photos you’ll sure to be snapping, you’ll have a 5” Super AMOLED 720p HD display to view them on and share with all your friends and family.
The A5 will run off of a 2300 mAh battery and hopefully have 16 GB of internal storage along with an expandable memory slot. With plenty of internal memory along with a powerful lithium ion battery to power the device, it should run quite smoothly on the Android 4.4.4 KitKat on board. Even with all these high tech advancements, the A5 is expected to be released at a lower point which will be affordable for the masses.
