After making a lot of noise online via leaks and rumors, the Lenovo Z5 is officially here and it’s not what people were expecting. Lenovo officially posted some promotional render and sketches which showed a completely bezel-less phone with no notch on top. However, now that the final product is here, we can confirm that it’s not completely bezel-less or what the company claimed earlier. To find out more about this phone and the Lenovo Z5 Cairo price, continue reading.
Although people were really hoping to see an all screen phone from Lenovo like the company teased, it’s actually a near bezel-less phone with a notch on top just like some of the recently released phones. The display is quite a big 6.2-inch one showing 2246 x 1080 pixels resolution and 402ppi of pixel density. It’s undoubtedly a good looking phone in this price range but the pictures released by Lenovo before it’s release is making it difficult to accept the fact that it’s not what the company promised earlier. It’s easy to confuse this phone with the latest iPhone X or Asus Zenfone 5 as rear cameras are placed on the exact same spot as well. This phone is already available in some places in these colors: Black, Blue and Aurora.
Like most of the recently released phones, the Lenovo Z5 comes with dual rear cameras: one 16-megapixel camera and an 8-megapixel camera. However, it’s a budget phone we are talking about so it will be a good idea to not expect too much from this dual camera. The front camera is also a decent 8-megapixel one. Users will get to choose from two storage options: 64/128GB but it’s important to choose wisely as there is no microSD card slot on the phone. There is the OnePlus 5T and Asus Zenfone 3 if you are in the market for a good camera phone. These are two mid-range phones that are slightly more expensive compared to the Lenovo Z5 Cairo price.
For a budget phone, things are looking quite good under the hood: a Qualcomm SDM636 Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz. This processor has been paired with 6GB of RAM so running all the latest apps smoothly won’t be a problem. This phone also comes with fast battery charging (18W) support and a 3300mAh Li-Ion battery powering up the phone which should be enough for a day or two if you are not a heavy user. Other notable features include: Android 8.0 Oreo OS, dual SIM support, Bluetooth 4.2, USB 2.0, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector and fingerprint sensor. If you are in the market for a phone with big battery, there is the Asus Zenfone Max 2016 you can check out.
The Lenovo Z5 is available for about EGP 4300 at the moment. It’s already available in some places which means no need to wait for the Lenovo Z5 release date Egypt.
